Barely an hour’s drive from the centre of Gauteng you will find Granietkop Game Lodge - a fantastic weekend or short break getaway, whether it’s to enjoy the great outdoors, game viewing, hunting or just to relax, Granietkop is the place to go.
Granietkop Game Lodge is only 30 km from the North West town of Brits on the Thabazimbi road (R511). It is the ideal getaway where everybody from young to old will enjoy a fascinating experience in the wild. The lodge provides an exciting opportunity to experience a luxurious stay in the bush while enjoying the unique array of wildlife.
The Owners recently acquired two adjacent farms. Maroela and Sekelbos were added to the portfolio. This gives us the unique opportunity to now also offer rifle hunting in a dedicated area. Bow hunters can still rest assured that blinds are in a dedicated area were rifle hunting is not allowed.
The Owners created a jewel in a beautiful setting which accommodates whole families and give them the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors. The hunters (bow & rifle) among the family members can enjoy hunting, while the rest of the family can enjoy hiking, cycling, archery on a 3D course, game viewing, swimming and even a session in a warm jacuzzi.
We are not only focused on bow hunting & rifle hunting, but can accommodate the whole family, so come and share your African experience.

We provide enjoyable game drives throughout the day or for the early bird at dawn and for the romantic, at sunset.
We have various trails on the farm to enjoy a leisure sunset cycle.

All Accommodation is a minimum stay of 2 days.
Booking will be confirmed on receipt of 50% deposit upon reservation.

Accommodation is provided in: 2 luxury lodge rooms (each unit sleeps 4), 2 luxury tents (each unit sleeps 4), 2 luxury chalets (each unit sleeps 5).
